I thought this 1900 census below might not be the right Wm. S and Pauline family; but noted it here just for reference. I note the 1900 Wm. S. says he is from TN and the 1910 William S says he is from Virginia; which is the William S. Miller that married Pauline Prickett. There are NOT nine months between the child Ralph and the child Bessie based on records of Patricia Prickett Hickin. But Mrs. Hickin tells me that this 1900 Census record is the correct family and that Pauline and William did indeed have a son named Ralph who died very young.
