MESTER, SR. , William J. WILLIAM J. MESTER, SR., passed away on November 26, 2009. He and his late wife Rose provided a great family life for Bill Jr., Greg, Karen, Joan and Joe; with a legacy that continues with 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was always developing new ideas at home, in his garden and at work at Rowan Controller Co. His use of common sense and experience permitted the accomplishment of much during his lifetime of 99 years. His many years of working with the Long Green Volunteer Fire Co., St. Johns' Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus were very beneficial to many of his neighbors and friends. Dad, Pop, Great Pop, Bill will always be remembered.
Friends may call at THE JOHNSON FUNERAL HOME P.A., 8521 Loch Raven Blvd. (beltway exit 29B) on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. All are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Tuesday in St. John the Evangelist, Hydes at 10 A.M. Interment in St John Evangelist Church Cemetery.
