WHF Meeks was sometimes called Alphabet Meeks due to a propensity to use long names for his children, i.e. Floyd Thomas Christopher Columbus Meeks, his second son.----- Grandpa Meeks was from the Cartersville Georgia area. In the months before his death he told his wife, Retta, that he wanted to go home one last time. He went and visited with his extended family . Shortly after his return he passed on.
