William Albert Medsker - William Albert Medsker, son of William F. and Alice S. Medsker, was born Septermber 16, 1873, in Cambridge City, Indiana. Early education was attained through attendance in the schools in this city. He studied law in his father's office and in the office of Henry U. Johnson of Richmond; was admitted to Wayne County Bar at the age of 21; was associated with his father in his law office and was clerk in the Senate as secretary for the late Charles Shiveley. On occasion of our country's entrance into war he went to Pittsburgh and became identified with the Westinghouse Co. in their production of munitions of war for the United States government.
After war he returned to Cambridge City and his law practice, later returning to Pittsburgh, Penn., where he was associated with a firm until his death January 1, 1929.
He was a grandson of the late Benjamin and Harriett E. Conklin, who weer (sic) early settlers in this community. He is survived by his mother, brother Harry B. Medsker of Philadelphia, Penn., and two aunts, Lillie E. and Harriett G. Conklin, who deeply mourn their loss.
Funeral was held January 4th at the Conklin home in east Cambridge, Rev. F.C. McCormick officiating. Burial in Riverside cemetery.
