William C. Mains

William C. Mains, one of the prominent men of Beaver township, was born on the 21st of October, 1851. He came to this township with his parents, in July, 1852, where he was married, on the 9th of November, 1873, to Miss Lucinda C. Henderson, a daughter of Jonathan Henderson. They have five children living--Luella Viola, Emily Eldora, Jesse Edward, Ida May, and Sarah Jane. Mr. Mains owns one hundered and twenty-three acres, all of which is under cultivation, and is raising stock. He owns fifteen acres of timber land, which is included in his farm.
