William J. Loughner Jr., 74, of Jeannette, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at the VA Medical Center, Aspinwall. He was born July 30, 1943, in Greensburg, the son of the late William J. Sr. and Cecelia V. (Morchied) Loughner. William was a retired staff sergeant for the Army, 4th Infantry Division; he was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving several tours. Bill was also a retired chef. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James Scott Loughner. Surviving is his wife of 47 years, Eva (Johnson) Loughner; a daughter, Christina Loughner, of Colorado; two sons, John Price Loughner, of Jeannette, and Joshua Joseph "JJ" Loughner and his wife, Danae, of Sewickley Township; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Tabler, of Allentown; three brothers, Lawrence, of Connecticut, Robert, of North Huntingdon, and Gerald Loughner and his wife, Sue, of North Huntingdon; and several nieces and nephews.
