Facts and Events
Source:The Libby family in America, 1602-1881, p. 50, says: Moved to Scarborough in 1719 or 1720. Chosen Constable at first town meeting. He seems to have been a man whom his townsmen respected. He served at different times as selectman and in other minor offices. His chief activity however, was in religious matters; he served on nearly or quite all the committees which the town chose which related to the church. He settled on a farm in the interior of the town and both he and his wife lived to advanced age.
