William (Guillaume) JOHNSON, born around 1680, originally a soldier from Scotland, he arrived in Acadia around 1710. Married around 1715 to Elizabeth CORPORON; 3 children listed (a footnote states that on the register of the birth of Thomas in 1719, it state "Anglais").

Billy JOHNSON--William Johnson, born about 1686 in Scotland, came to Annapolis as one of the garrison in the year 1711. Soon after his arrival he became acquainted with an Acadian girl, Isabelle CORPORON, by whom he had several children, the first of whom [sic] was named Marie, born 9 Sep 1713, who became the wife of John DAVIS of the Annapolis garrison.
