William Hill and wife Mary to James Towles, all of Lancaster, for $333, "all right, title, property, interest, claim and demand" in the lands and personal estate of John Hill, dec'd, who was the father of said William Hill, including their interest in the dower estate allotted or to be allotted to the widow. Witnessed by R. Jones, Fred Jones, Elizabeth P. Jones (all signed by signature.) Recorded 29 APR 1819. (DB 26:281)

His will is dated 24 AUG 1829, proved 18 OCT 1841. (Date correct). Wife, not named, whole estate for life, then to daughter Matilda P. Hill. Balance of estate to four other children Cordelia Hill, William Hill, Fanny Hill and Lucy Hill. Executor: Col. John Chowning. Signed with signature. Witnessed by Charles Brent and Thomas D. George.
