943. WILLIAM CARROLL HANSBROUGH: (942 Daniel) He owned a country store 9 miles southeast of Martin, Tennessee, during the part of the period 1850-1877. This was before the town of Martin was established in 1865. He maintained a ledger book in which he wrote; "I was born in 1816, the 8th of March, in the state of Kentucky, Logan County, 4 miles south of Russellville." He married Titha---. He and his wife died in 1877. At the age of six, his father moved from near Paris, Tennessee, to Martin, Tennessee, where a large family was born. There were eight children.
