    [Lieut. Robert Fuller's] son, Lieutenant William [Fuller], born in 1743, married in 1769 Sarah Hunting, daughter of Ebenezer and Lydia (Woodward) Hunting. He was Sergeant in Captain Aaron Smith's company, which responded to the Lexington alarm April 19, 1775, was commissioned Second Lieutenant in September, 1776, and a little later Lieutenant.
