July 22, 1920 - Jan. 13, 1994 William M. Forgerson, 73, of Tillotson Street, died this morning at Countryside Continuing Care Center. He was born in Fremont to Miles and Helen (Ebright) Forgerson. He married Eileen Pasch on Sept. 27, 1941, in Fremont, and she survives. Mr. Forgerson was a 1939 graduate of Ross High School and served in the U.S. Army with the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions in Europe during World War II. He was an air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance repairman. He worked for Sears, the City of Fremont and retired from Memorial Hospital in 1985. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fremont, Royal Arch Masonic Lodge Chapter 64 in Fremont, Scottish Rite and the Zenobia Shrine in Toledo, and the American Legion and VFW in Fremont. Surviving are daughters Pamela Haas of Cuyahoga Falls, Sue Ann Tolhurst of Wexford, Pa., and Robin Pieta of Mt. Lebanon, Pa.; sister Barbara Nowakowski of Succasunna, N.J.; and half sister Janet Gillette of Brecksville. His parents and brother James are deceased. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Nopper-Karlovetz Mortuary, where visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Masonic services will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the military section of Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the care center.
