The probate papers say Mary was his only child. Mossess book on the Comegys family also indicates a son William. However, if so, that son's birth isn't included in the Shrewsbury Church records where his parents marriage and birth of Mary are recorded and is therefore possibly in error.
- ↑ Administration of William Comegys of Kent County by Jesse Cosden names wife of Accountant as relict of Edward Commegys, debts to father, Edward Commegys and Alphonso Cosden and only child Mary Commegys.
