Obituary DEATH OF W.T. COLE -- Illness That Interrupted Jury Service Of New Baltimore Proves Fatal.-- William t. Cole, an aged resident of Stark county, died at his home in New Batimore about 7 o'clock Friday evening. His death was due to heart failure, as a result of grip. Mr. Cole served as a regular juror in common pleas court last week and at the time did not feel well. Just one week ago today he became quite ill and gradually grew worse. The deceased was born in Yorkshire, England, June 6, 1827, and was therefore in his seventy-eighth year. He came to this country with his parents when a boy. The family located in Massillon. Mr. Cole resided in New Baltimore for over fifty years. He conducted a small foundry and plow shop for many years, after which he engaged in farming. His wife died about seven years ago, within one month of their golden wedding anniversary. Four sisters and nine children survive. The sisters are Mrs. Anna Smith and Mrs. Belle Wertsbaugher of Massillon, Mrs. Christian Wertsbaugher of West Branch, Ia., and Mrs. Jane Sheak, who lives in the state of Washington. The children surviving are: Charles B. Cole, of New Baltimore; Mrs. Lottie Chain, of Mahaska, Kas.; Arthur W. Cole, of New Baltimore; Mrs. D.E. Smith of Canton; Mrs. Elisha Wittiesley, of Atwater; Mrs. O.P. Thompson, of Atwater; Mrs. Mattie Mickle, of Wichita, Kas.; Frank L. Cole, of Canton, and Miss Leora Cole, of New Baltimore.
