Household members include daughter Charlotte A Colby, 28 [should be 21, age is 1850 is clear at 11, age in 1860 is not wholly legible]; William H Colby, 18, also a mariner; Mary F Colby, 15; Thomas E Colby, 12; and Druscilla Colby, 7. The four younger children have attended school. His brother Nehemiah Colby lives nearby.
