      • 29 Jun 2001 - as told by my mother, age 88 - William Belthuis Sr., m. Lulu Lambertson, they had 2 sons, Frances & William (Billie), ...as I remember: they had 2 daughters, Lillie May, & Betty Jo,....I remember when I was about 9 years of age , abt 1946, we lived in Compton, Los Angeles Co., CA, in a low-income housing project, at that time it was called 'Victory Park'. There was a western entertainment place where there was a radio program broadcast every saturday , called 'SQUEEKIN DEEKON' (spelling may not be correct), every saturday afrernoon, they had a talant show, I remember my cousin (3rd cousin) Lilie May, had a beautiful voice, and she sang a song, and won a watch, she was maybe about 7 years of age. I remember I got to go with them, and I remember the country music playing and western entertainers playing and singing and everyone dancing, Lillie May sang a song in the talent show and she won a watch. I remember Billie and Hazel and their girls came on saturday evening sometimes and the grown-ups played a card game'PINOCOLE', some times I got to sit in while my mother made more coffee or sandwiches. Then we lost track of them in about 1958. Until abt1980, when we gave my mother Betty Jane Bork and father Wesley Milton Lambertson, a 50th wedding anniversary party, cousin Billie had already passed away but his widow, Hazel and daughter Lilie May came to the party, and I never saw or heard of them again, until 2003 when our cousin James Bishop sent me a picture of Betty Jo and her husband and Lillie Mae, they live in
