Bill Barrett

While Bill was born in Savannah, Georgia, his family moved to St. Augustine, Florida, about 1925 when his father accepted a job with the Florida East Coast Railway. St. Augustine remained his home for the rest of his life.

Bill attended Kings Point - the United States Merchant Marine Academy - and served in the Merchant Marine during World War II.
