I think the William Bailey who moved to Kanawha was the son of William Bailey in 1788 tax list for Buckingham Co, VA. This district on the James River near Albemarle and Nelson. Other reasons: the name Reuben P. is probably for Reuben Puryear, a neighbor who lived in that area. And John Parish at whose home William Jr. died at was probably from the same Parish family that intermarried with Bryants who lived close to Reuben Puryear.
