The Alma Record, 17 February 1921 Alma, Michigan Willard Church was born in Jackson county, Mich., Jan. 3, 1850, and departed this life to be with the Lord, Feb. 10, 1921. He came to this county in his youth and was united in marriage to Miss Margaret Mulm [Muhn] in the year 1871. To this union were born nine children. The oldest dying in infancy. Those living are Nathan of Toledo, Frank, and Viola Hochler of St. Louis, Harvey, Carrie Ankey and Mina Duncan of Alma, John of Crystal, and Myrta of Detroit. He also leaves twenty grandchildren, one sister, four brothers and a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss. He was a loving husband, and a kind ather. He was converted about twenty-five years ago and lived a consistent Christian life. He was taken sick last October and suffered much but his constant faith and trust in God was such that his testimony was always bright and gave evidence that he was redy to go. He was patient during all his suffering and death came in peaceful sleep. He was dearly loved by all who knew him for he was always ready to lend a willing hand or speak a kind word to everybody. The funeral service was conducted by A. L. Sheldon of Flint in the M. E. church of Alma. Interment was made in Riverside cemetery. References
