HUMBOLDT — Wilbur Moore, of Humboldt, will celebrate his 90th birthday on Saturday. Cards may be sent to him at 702 S. Ninth St., Humboldt, IA 50548. His family includes wife Phyllis; Jerald and Beverly Moore, of Charlotte, N.C.; and Pat Moore, of Shenandoah. He has one granddaughter. Moore was born Aug. 27, 1921, in Glendon. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1943 and later farmed before being recalled during the Korean Crisis. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1970, serving 27 years, and has lived in Humboldt since then.
