Wendell E. Reffner, 81, of Laurel Drive, Fostoria, died at 7:35 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, in Toledo Hospital.

He was born June 30, 1924, in West Independence to Elmer and Elma (King) Reffner. He married Norma J. O'Toole Aug. 18, 1945, in Kansas, and she survives in Fostoria. Other survivors include: four sons, Dennis, Dana and Kevin, all of Fostoria, and Kim of Kenton; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with burial in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
