Wayne Reddin

Fostoria -- Funeral services for Wayne C Reddin, 76, of Van Buren St, Fost oria, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, F ostoria, the Rev. Neil Foster officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Ceme tery, Fostoria, with military rites by Joint Veterans Group of Fostoria.

Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Reddin died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at the Goerlich Cent er, Sylvania.

He was born Dec. 13, 1925, in Henry CO to John and Irene (Herr) Reddi n. He married Marilyn Stearns on April 9, 1949, in Bloomdale, and she surv ives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Sue Ann Hoy, Fostoria; Mrs. David (Pat ricia Lynn) Burkhart, Toledo; and Mrs. Scott (Nancy Jean) Stanley, Denve r; six grandchildren; and three sisters, Grace Schneider and Virginia Stea rns, both of Toledo; and Mildred Klotz, Risingsun.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John V

Mr. Reddin retired in 1988 as a farmer.

He was a U.S Navy veteran of World War II, and was attached to the Mari ne Corps as a medical corpsman 6th Division in the Pacific Theater.

He was a 1943 graduate of Bloomdale High School.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Bloomdale; and the 6 th Marine Division Association.
