  Wayne was in the Naval Air Corps during World War II.  During the Korean War was in Army Corp of Engineers, building bridges there.  Worked as a chemist at a flour mill, Nutrena, in Coffeyville.  Later, a draftsman at an oil rig company, Parkersburg Rig & Reel.  Put in 28 years as purchasing agent - engineer at Sherman Williams Paint in Circleville. Make many trips to Mexico buying ore. Set the dynamite charges used to fell the old smoke stack between 2 buildings at the plant.  Passed away of lung cancer.
