Wanda Mae Eggars was born in Kentucky. She lived with her Grandfather and Grandmother Patrick. Her mother could not seem to stay anywhere for very long. Wanda ran off and married to a man she said was her true love with her mother's permission. The marriage was quickly annulled by Grandmother Patrick. At age 16 Wanda's marriage to Overton Osborne (age 30) was arranged. She bore him 5 children. She ran off with the neighbor man when the youngest child was 3years old. Wanda got a divorce from Overton and married Herman. The marriage did not last because Herman was an alcoholic. Wanda married again to Clarence Rigsby who she divorced after about 6 years. She died of a rare cancer at the age of 80.
