GRAHAM - Mr. Walter Robert ``Dude Rich, 67, of 1010 Mobile Park Road, died at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1997, at The Hospice Home after eight months of failing health, three days critical.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Mr. Phillip M. Rich and Mrs.. Maggie Allred Rich, both deceased. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was retired from textiles and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs.. Lisa Dawn Rich Green of the home; three stepdaughters, Mrs.. Pat Culberson and Miss Debbie Wrenn, both of Burlington; and Mrs.. Elizabeth ``Lib Sea of Belmont; two sisters, Mrs.. Dorothy Chester of Graham and Mrs.. Helen Eli of Burlington; two brothers, the Rev. Max Rich of Burlington and Mr. Bynum Rich of Gibsonville; two grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by the Rev. David Jackson and the Rev. Raymond Webb. Burial will be in Bellemont United Methodist Church cemetery.

The family will be at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 7 to 9 this evening and at other times at the home of a sister, Mrs.. Dorothy Chester, 717 Sycamore Road, Graham.
