    Walter M. Hobson, 70, well known farmer residing in St. Joseph Township, died at his home yesterday afternoon at 1:50 o'clock after an illness of two years from dropsy. Mr. Hobson was born in 1854, a son of the late Jose K. and Catherine Gochnauer Hobson, and had lived on the farm where he died just outside the city limits for 60 years. He is survived by two brothers, Jacob and George L. Hobson also residents of St. Joseph Township.
