WALTER V. CLINE (Date of Death 7-9-81)

Services for Walter Vernon Cline, 57, of 102 Noel Ave. will be held at Rogers Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Monday.

He died at King's Daughter's Memorial Hospital at 4:56 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 1981 following a long illness. He will be buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

He was a native of Bath County and the retired owner of Cline Wheel Alignment. He was a member of Hiram Lodge 7/84 F& AM, the order of the Eastern Star and the York Rite Bodies. He was also a member of the Thorn Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha Westmoreland Cline; one daughter, Wanda Landrum, four stepdaughters, Pamela West, Lori Aldridge, Rita Westmoreland and Margaret Westmoreland; four sons, Tommy Cline, Donnie Ray Cline, Garnet Preston of Georgetown and Paul Cline of Homa, La; One sister, Clarine Smith; three brothers, Ewell Cline, Johnson Cline of Winter Haven, Florida and William D. Cline of Elizabethtown; and eight grandchildren.

The Rev. William Hartung will officiate at the services.

Bearers will be Billy Joe Cline, John Scott Cline, Charles G. West, Sherman Landrum, Mitchell Cline and Paul Underwood.

Honorary bearers will be Norm Davis, Billy Paynter, Eugene Moore, Jr., Robert Smoot, Louis Pfouts and Jim McDaniel.
