    "Walter4 Buddington, born at Groton, Conn., 12 Aug. 1704, died there 14 Sept. 1794, aged 90 (gravestone); married first, at First Church, New London, Conn., 6 Apr. 1728, Abigail Marsy, born about 1705, died at Groton, 25 Nov. 1756, aged 51 (gravestone); married second, (_____) Bell, of Stonington; married third, after 1760, Martha (_____) Waterman, widow of Zebulon, who died at Groton, 3 July 1787, aged 73 (gravestone); married fourth, Sarah (_____) Peck, of Colchester, Conn. The will of Walter Budington of Groton, dated 2 Sept. 1794, proved 16 Sept. 1794, gave to wife Sarah all the household furniture she brought, and obligation of son Oliver to pay her £12 a year through her widowhood; remainder of the movable estate to daughter Abigail Buckley and daughter Lucy Waterman; three sons, Jonathan, Walter and Oliver have had a suitable provision by deed and personal gift; sons Walter and Oliver, executors.
