Note from Dr. Troha:
"I found a listing of internments in the Oak Grove Cemetery in South Union Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. The individuals with the surname of Frost that are buried there include:

“Frost Alfred 15 Oct 1849 11 Jan 1913
Frost Allison J. 6 Apr 1874 16 Mar 1896 s/o Alfred
Frost Annette 1883 1886
Frost Artie M. 1865 1947
Frost Jane D. 1891 1982

Frost Benton D. 1867 1935
Frost Caroline 6 Feb 1906 70y
Frost James R.14 Apr 1909 82y
Frost Mary E. 17 Feb 1878 26?y
Frost Nancy E. 1864 1952”

Based on Lida Barton Frost’s obituary, we can identify Annette Frost and John Frost as her children who died in adolescence, and this listing provides us with the years of their births and deaths [notice that the ages agree with those mentioned in the obituary]. The graves of Lida Barton Frost and her husband, Wallace J. Frost are listed, as is the resting place of their daughter, Mary E. Frost, along with the years of her birth [1890] and death [1950]. The Mary E. Frost who died in 1878 is possibly a sister of Wallace J. Frost after whom he named his daughter.

The Evening Standard, Monday, June 25, 1962 (Final Edition, Volume 73, Number 160, Page 1, Column 7):
“Wallace J. Frost Dies in Michigan

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Grace Bierer Frost; one son, Jon, and four grandchildren. Preceding Mr. Frost in death were two sisters, Mrs. Laura Frost Sturgeon and Mary Frost, and one brother, Horace C. Frost.”
