Virginia E. Fields, 84, 220 S. Lane St., died at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 1991, in Bucyrus Community Hospital. Mrs. Fields was born Oct. 6, 1907, in Dunkirk, Ind., to the late Herman B. and Emily Sutton Barenbrugge. She was married in 1936 to Roy B. Johnson. He preceded her in death in 1946. She was married a second time in 1959 to Dale R. Fields, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Harry G. and Eugene P. Barenbrugge. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. A 1926 graduate of Fostoria High School, Mrs. Fields had been employed by General Electric Company in Niles from 1033-44. She worked locally for Clady's Drug Store from 1955-65. Mrs. Fields was a member of First United Methodist Church, Keystone Sunday School Class, Naomi Ruth Circle, United Methodist Women, VFW Auxiliary Post 1078 of Bucyrus and Bucyrus Golden Agers.
