Letter from Clarence-J. d'ENTREMONT in 1983 is cited proving that the Vincent BRAULT of the 1671 census in Acadia cannot be the same as was baptized 28 May 1629 at Saint-Clement church (today Saint-Jean-de-Sauves), near La Chaussee, Vienne, France, son of Rene BRAULT & Marie RENAULME. This man with his mother was witness to his brother's marriage at St. Paul church in Coussay (near La Chaussee) on 21 Jan 1674.
