"Valentine Rowell, was buried at Atherstone, 13 Sept. 1613. He married at Mancetter, 12 Jan. 1591 Elizabeth Hampton, who was buried 14 Feb. 1647. At the time of his death, his estate was inventoried at £23, 9s., 6d. The original will of Valentine Rowell has been lost, but the Court record of probate survives as does the inventory, which are located at the Lichfield Joint Record Office/Public Library, Lichfield, England."
