Second, there is no relationship to the wife Margaret Baker based on her birth locations. The only relationship possible for Mr. Baker that would make them brothers would be as son of a previous marriage of Lydia Hawkins, but that would require she be married to two men at the same time, since Mr. Baker would have a birth after her daughter Jane Hawkins. Hence, Uriah's (and Edward's) only relation to the Bakers is as boarders.]

The basis is not given, and it does not agree with the 1900 census showing his birth Aug 1850, nor with the age at death of sister Esther which would make her an earlier birth in Cass Township, if the date Uriah Sr. claimed land, 10 Jul 1847, represents when he located here.
