    Resorting to original records:
The alleged 1757 birth is Vol. 2, p. 21: "Uriah Son of Uriah Allard by Prudence his wife born July 27, 1[torn]". The compiler inserted 1757 but the page hardly follows a chronological pattern and dates from 1759 and 1760 are seen higher up on the page. 1757 makes sense from consideration of the other known births seen in this family.
The alleged April 14 birth is not an original, but a town copy in alphabetical order, Vol. 4, Births-A, p. 1: "Allard Uriah Son of Uriah Allard by Prudence his wife Born April 14 1[torn]". In this case, Uriah is embedded in a family listing, between Molly and Rebecca, which presumably reflects the order found in the original record cited above. Hence, it is suspected that this is a mistranscription of the above record (i.e., April 14 is incorrect), which is confirmed by further checking.
Going back to the original on p. 2:21, the 8th line on the page says: "Molly Daughter of Uriah Allard by Prudence born May 15th 1759" The "1757" Uriah birth cited is line 26 consistent with the order of the family register. But then line 29, apparently blotted by a stain, says "Molle Daughter of Uriah Allard by Prudence born [April?] [washed out]". We don't know what it said in the blotted area, or if it was blotted when the town copy was made, but as only one Molly is included in the town copy, and there is no other record for Uriah found before Rebecca's birth on p. 2:26, it doesn't not appear there was another birth record for Uriah than the "1757" one, and the April 14 found in the town copy must be a mistranscription.
