His widow remarried around 1664 to Michel DUPUIS. 

    An Historical Note adds: The 1st husband of Marie GAUTROT was perhaps the Swiss Jean POTET dit La Fortune, born around 1624, from Lucerne, an "engage'" (bound employee) of LA TOUR who came to Acadia at the age of 19 in 1643. (Reference: d'Entremont, HISTOIRE DU CAP-SABLE; vol.II, p.664).
