Werelate has another article for the same Ketel, but making him father to Godith the wife of "this" Ketel's grandson, William de Lancaster. Actually Ragg showed already in 1910 that William de Lancaster's charters call Ketel his avunculus, which normally means maternal uncle, can sometimes mean paternal uncle, but does not mean grandfather.[2]
