Timothy Patey was born in the parish of Wroughton. He is mentioned in the wills of his mother Catherine in 1689 and a brother William in 1707. The wife of Timothy was Elizabeth who died in 1731. Timothy had at least four children in Purton parish. A gap in the parish records leaves probably two children unidentified, however it has been determined that a daughter Elizabeth was one of them. Timothy was buried at Purton in 1730.
