  4. ↑ The Thurston Genealogy says the Boston record gives his birth as "11 Dec" instead of 11 Feb 1658. One would assume this means 11 Dec 1657, and that "Dec" is an error interpreting the 12th month. But there is more to it. As published in NEHGR, p. 13:218, "Boston Records", "More Berthes of Meadfeild", the Boston record says "11 : 12 : 58", which should be interpreted as 11 Feb 1658/59, which refers to a date exactly one year later than what the published Medfield record says.
