7 Apr 1724: Appraisal and set off the Widows thirds, assenting were "the Dec'd (Tho's Prencice's) widow now Nath. Robins wife, eldest son Thomas, Mary a daughter (Fra's Kidders widow), Solomon Prentice s'd Chidlren's Uncle and Stephen prentice (uncle and Guardian to John and Elizabeth). Children's names are Mary (first Venter [venter="wife or mother that is a source of offspring"]), Thomas (eldest of full age), John, Elizabeth, Henry, William, Hepsibah (all by Mary labeled "Second").
25 May 1724: Judge's decree settling "two third part or residue of the real Estate of his late father" to "Thomas Prentice eldest Son of ye late Thomas Prentice Late of Cambridge", the other third part set off to "Mary the s'd dec'ds widow (now the wife of Nath'l Robbins of Charlestown in s'd County) for her Dower", "the s'd deceased leaving at his death seven children & now surviving viz Mary by his first wife & Thomas, this assignee (eldest son) & John, Elizabeth, Henry, William & Hepzibah, all six last by his 2'd wife Mary", the others to be paid by Thomas.
