was a patriot of the Revolution, serving thirty-two months form the age of fifteen. He married, first Sept 9, 1782, Hannah THRUSTON, lived in a three story house, where Edwin LAMPREY's barn now stands, in North Hampton. His wife was baptized Apr. 14, 1801, and died May 13, 1801, aged thirty-eight years. He married, second, Nov. 15, 1804, at North Hampton, Mrs. Miriam LEAVITT, granddaughter of Henry DOW (14). She was born Mar 21, 1762; died at North Hampton Feb 24, 1842 (DOW-828-829)
