"Jones, Thomas, s. of Thomas. Deputy (Fairfield), May 1685, Oct. 1704. Married at Fairfield, 5 Mar. 1670/1, Abigail Rowland, dau. of Henry. He acknowledged, 2 May 1673, that his father had sold his homelot to John Bulkley. Unable to find a deed for land which his father bought from Nathan Gold 'many years since', Gold gave him a new deed, 17 Mar. 1684/5. Will 16 Feb. 1714/5, proved 20 Feb. 1723/4; 'greatly advanced in years'; wife Abiall [sic]; dau. Abigail Wells of Stratfield; son John Jones; dau. Martha Jones."
