Thomas married in 1861, had two children by 1864. I have not found him in the 1870 or 1880 census. Civil war times; he may have died. Record of his birth and marriage is in the Jackson Bible, but no mention is made of his death. His wife and children were found in the 1870 and 1880 census living with his wife's mother.

Listed in the 1850 Overton County, Tennessee Census as Thomas Jackson, age 14, born TN. With mother and two youngest siblings.
