    In the name of god amen The last daye of October in the yere of our lord god a thousand fyve hundred fyftie eight I Thoms Holloway of Crowherst in the Countie of Surrey yeoman being sick in bodye but wholle of mynd and of perfytt memory thanks be unto god do ordeyn and mak this my last will and Testament in manner and forme folowing Fyrst I bequethe my soule to allmightie god my creator who hath Redemed me and all mankynd and my bodye to be burid in the parysshe Churche yard of Croweherst aforesaid Item I give to the highe alter of Crowherst xiijd Item I will that at my buriall shalbe bestowed so..che(?) as by my overseers shalbe thought most necessary and sufficient in that behalf Item I give to the poor people iij s iiij d Item I give and bequethe unto Katherin my wif xx li of Lawfull money of England Item also I give and bequethe to Katherin my wife thone half of my farme that I now dwell in called Stace during her widowhud and all my dwelling house except half my barne half my Stable and half my Stall Also I give to Katherin my wife the one half of my corne in the barne and without and half my haye Item I give and bequethe to Katherin my wife viij kyne and a bull iiij oxen two heyfords my horse my mare also my Coulte and the one half of all my houshold stuff and all hryve(?) poultre as is a bout the house Item also I will that if Katherin my wife shall marry witihin the Tenor and terme of yers in myn Indenture and or else decease within the Terme of my said leas Item I will that Thoms Hollowaye my brother shall have the whole farme leas and terme of yeres then to come uppon Condicion that he shall kepe and bring uppe my said children at his proper costes and charges untill thei shall come unto the full ages of xviij yeres Item I give and bequethe unto Thoms Hollowaye my brother the other half of my farme not bequethed with half of my barne half my Stable half my Stall and all my house and lands therto belonging called Stemps tenement during the terme of all the yers Item allso I give and bequeth to Thoms Hollowaye my brother tenne pounds of Lawfull money of England to be payed unto hym within one monethe after my decease Item I give and bequithe unto the said Thoms my brother my oxen my kyne & hayffers my baye mare or my gelding colte Item also I give and bequithe unto the said Thomas by brother a fetherbed being the therd bedd in valewe with the apparents therto belonging Item I will alll the Reparacons of all my housinge that shalbe nedfull shalbe donne at the charges of Katherin my wife and Thoms my brother each of them their owne severall porons and partes of all manner houses barnes stables stalls as shalbe in their severall occupacon during the terme of all the yers Item also I give to the said Thoms Holloway my brother the one half of all my corne and haye within the barne and without Item I give and bequethe to Audrey Holoway my daughter xxx li of Lawfull money of England to be payed unto her when she shall come to the age of xviii yeres or else at the daye of her mariage And if it fortune the said Audrey to decease befor the yers above and or the daye of her marriage Then I will the said xxx li to remayn to Alexander Holloway my sonne Item I give and bequithe to Harry Holloway my brother [...] and in Leas of the cowland Item I give and bequithe to the Children of my Sister Joane Till iiij of them that is to saye Robert Till Thoms Tyll Aline Tyll and Agnes Tyll either of them fortie Shillings if any of them dye before thei come to Lawfull age thene to be the others heires and the partye so dinge his and their parte to be equally devidd amonge them that Live in equall partes Item I give and bequithe to John Defridge xxs Item I give and bequethe to Margrit Upfold a bullocke of one yeres of age Item I will that Katherin my wife shall have the Custody and kepinge of Alexander my sonne and Audry my daughter as long as she kepethe her a widowe Item I will that Harry Hayward shall have the stocke of my children so that the said Harry do fynd and put in sufficient sureties to be bound in obligatory by the Lawe to my Overseers herafter named for the Redelivering of all those stocks of somes of money and other found to be of his and their Right after my decease in suche order of Lawe as my said overseers and their Counsell lerned shalbe advized to the moste advantage of my said Children Item I will that Thoms Hollowaye shall paye out of my said farme of his parte towards the keping of my children a bove the Rent of the farme thenn shillings every yere during the yere Item I give and bequithe to Thoms Hollowaye the one half of my Implements of husbandry and all such thing and things apperteyning therto Item The Reasidewe of all my goods and Cattalls stocks and soms of money not bequithed I give to Alexander my sonne whome I do make to be my sole executor to this my present Last Testament to Receave my goods and paye my debts and performe my Legacies as in my present Testament is further declared Also if yt fortune Alexander my sonne to decease before he come to Lawfull age Then I will that all those my goods which should decend to hyme by vertue of The executorshippe shall Remayn to thuse of Harry Holowaye and to the Children of the said Harry and of the Children of Thoms Hollowaye and Joane Till my sisters Children equally to be devidd amoungsest them in equall partes by the dysposicon of myn overseers Item I ordeyn and make to be my overseers to this my present last will and Testament Reynold Holmdon Michaill Haward Harry Hayward of London Holmdon will and do not Immediatly after my deceasse put in and mak his stocke in the forge as good in all things and poyntes as I and the Rest of our parteners have made or shall make in the said forge for the Incrias therof Or if the said Reynold do not performe all such things and [...] my overseers by me demised as in my said will That then in every suchlike case my very will and mynd is that then as nowe and now as then it shalbe lafull and Lawfull unto and for my residue of overseers appoynted by my said will or any of them wholly to expell and put out the said Reynold Homon of and
