In the matter on the petition of James Green for letters of administration on the estate of Thomas Green late of Berlin deceased -
The said James by his petition sets forth and on oath proves that the said Thomas died intestate leaving a Widow who is ____ dead?? & five children all of whom are infants under the age of fourteen years & that the said James is a Brother of the deceased & pray that letters of administration on the estate of the said Thomas may be granted to him - and he having produced an instrument in writing executed by Joseph Green father of the said Thomas whereby he declines taking upon himself such administration & having proved that the personal estate of the said deceased does not in value exceed the sum of $1,600 - It is ordered that such letters of administration be granted ...
