The first mention of Thomas in New England is a court record from 14 June 1631, which places his arrival in 1630 (or earlier).

Thomas settled in Salem shortly before July 1636. He was granted 10 acres there before 4 July.[1]

His will names his wife Rachel, son Samuel, son-in-law John King, daughter King, "her daughter" Elizabeth, and grandson Samuel (son of Samuel)
