    Vol. 8 (new series), p. 21 Will of "Thomas Clap Sen'r of Dedham", dated 14 Dec 1688, proved 29 Jan 1690[/91], names wife Mary Clap; eldest son Thomas Clap; other sons Joshua Clap, Eliezer Clap & Samuell Clap; three daughters Mary Abigail & Hannah. Sons Thomas and Joshua to be executors; friend Samuel Barber, brother John ffisher, cozen John Plimton all of Meadfield to be overseeres.
    Vol. 15, p. 321 20 Nov 1703: Division of estate left by Thomas Clap Sen'r of Dedham to his sons, To wit, Thomas Clap, Joshua Clap, Eleazer Clap & Sam'll Clap (haveing paid to o'r Sisters Mary and Hannah Clap their parts). 15 Aug 1704: Joshua Clap, Eleazer Clap & Samuel Clap acknowledged their act, Mary Clap Relict Widow & Admin'x of the Estate of Thomas Clap the Eldest Brother deced declared this was to her husband's satisfaction and Thomas Clap his Eldest son signed in testimony of his consent.
