There was a William age 68 on the ship traveling with James. I assume it was James father (likely), but this William may not be the same one, his name and age are similar - that's all.

In researching records at the above library, I found 31 Christeningrecords for various Averys in Tenderden Presbyterian. Since theChristening records listed the parents, I was able to group familiestogether and based on this information I could pretty well determine theprobable bloodline to our family. This information was later confirmedin correspondence received from linda Beckett of Afton, New York.
William Avery was Christened 06 Aug 1775 and therefore was probably bornthat year.
