Ferryman, planter and weaver. Licensed to run a ferry on 2 Sept 1635 between Wessaguscus and Mt. Wooliston; he ran it only six months, until 3 March 1635/6. [MBCR 1:156, 165]

He was one of the first patentees at Flushing on 10 Oct 1645, but does not appear to have settled there and had land at Gravesend very soon after. He was frequently before courts both in Massachusetts and New York.
