Notation: "The Land which we have appraised is Deeded to Messrs. James Crumbie and David Hale and a Bond given for the Redemption of said Land, on the pay of thirty eight pounds & Interest".

17 Oct 1794: "widow of Thomas Ames late of Rindge Deceased being left with one child under fourteen years of age (viz) Charlotte Ames, chose Capt. Asa Sherwin as guardian. Thomas Ames & Hannah Ames Children of Thomas Ames late of Rindge Deceased being Minors above fourteen years of age, chose Capt. Asa Sherwin of Rindge as guardian. 7 Jun 1795: Bond given.
17 Mar 1795: Petition of Lucy Ames "that in January 1793 [sic?] My late husband the said Thomas Ames Died ... his being so involved in Debts ... left without a bed of her own to sleep on or any household furniture to keep house with", request part of the grain that belongs to estate to support herself.
