    18 Mar 1794: Bond of Jeremiah Ames of Rindge as administrator of Thomas Ames late of Rindge Deceased Husbandman.
    31 Mar 1794: An Inventory of the estate of Thomas Ames, late of Rindge deceas'd was shewn to us by Jeremiah Ames, Administrator of said estate. Appraisors: Benja. Foster, Asa Sherwin and David Hale. Notation: "The Land which we have appraised is Deeded to Messrs. James Crumbie and David Hale and a Bond given for the Redemption of said Land, on the pay of thirty eight pounds & Interest".
    31 Mar 1794: set off to Lucy Ames her thirds of the Estate of her late Husband Thomas Ames late of Rindge Husbanman Deceased.
    17 Jun 1794: Lucy (her mark) Ames of Rindge, widow, left with Eight Children three of which are under age and one under fourteen, petitioned and received dower division
    18 Jun 1794: Estate represented insolvent, commission appointed to receive claims.
    9 Dec 1794: Petition of Heirs of Thomas Ames that, estate being insolvent, administrator have license to sell real estate, Signed: Daniel Clark, Doley Clark, Ebin Platts, Priscilla Platts, Nathaniel Walker, Sally Walker, David Clark Junir, Betsy Platts, Hannah Ames.
    17 Oct 1794: "widow of Thomas Ames late of Rindge Deceased being left with one child under fourteen years of age (viz) Charlotte Ames, chose Capt. Asa Sherwin as guardian. Thomas Ames & Hannah Ames Children of Thomas Ames late of Rindge Deceased being Minors above fourteen years of age, chose Capt. Asa Sherwin of Rindge as guardian. 7 Jun 1795: Bond given.
    17 Mar 1795: Petition of Lucy Ames "that in January 1793 [sic?] My late husband the said Thomas Ames Died ... his being so involved in Debts ... left without a bed of her own to sleep on or any household furniture to keep house with", request part of the grain that belongs to estate to support herself.
    7 Jun 1795: Account of administration of Thomas Ames late of Rindge Deceased by Jeremiah Ames administrator, allowed.
