Records of Sudbury list Beulah Stone's marriage to Thomas Allen as 15 Feb 1762, but children recorded to Thomas and Beulah are Lucy 1742, Ephraim, 1745/46, Ezekiel 1753. Several observation:

1. The Simon Stone Genealogy reports the marriage date to Beulah Stone as 15 Feb 1742, without explanation. Misrecorded or mistranscribed? This would make Beulah not quite 16 at the time of her marriage, and about 5 months pregnant.
2. Source:Bolton, Ethel Stanwood. Some Descendants of John Moore of Sudbury, Mass, vol. 57, p. 306, says Beulah Moore married Thomas Allen Jr. No date is given. This is apparently based on the 1757 will of a Mary Moore [#15.v], spinster, of Sudbury, who made bequests to her cousins, including Beulah wife of Thomas Allen Jr. and other children of John Moore and Deborah Allen. This Beulah would be a more typical 24 in 1742.
3. None of the names of the known children of Thomas and Beulah seem to show any relationship to Joseph and Mary Stone, or to John and Deborah Moore, parents of the two Beulahs.
4. The Edmund Rice Association website says that the Rice Family Register shows 1762 as Beulah's death date, while suggesting it is more likely to be a second marriage of Thomas Allen.
5. Apparently, then, we must overrule the normally reliable J. Gardner Bartlett, and say that Thomas had a first wife (Beulah Moore) by whom he had children Lucy, Ephraim and Ezekiel, and then he married a second wife (Beulah Stone) in 1762 who was not the mother of his children.
